Fetal Stem Cells — Another Case Study in Media Hype

Fetal stem cells were touted not long ago as a possible cure for many difficult to cure conditions. This is just one example. Abortion advocates were excited about this because they could see possible positive reasons for abortion. Perhaps there are ways to use the byproducts of abortion in a positive way. They hoped that it would be a lose – win. ( It’s never a win – win when it comes to abortion. )

Here, we can see that at least some of that hype is unjustified. But, this will not be reported widely in the news.

We hope to see research that will yield great discoveries and medicine to heal difficult conditions such as spinal court injuries. However, we don’t want to see it literally on the backs of the unborn. The possibility of having laboratories growing fetal tissue is abhorrent.
