The Koran already paints a derogatory view of non-Muslims. Non-Muslim women are subject to even more derision because they are considered by many Muslim cultures as something to be sexually dominated. Obviously, not all Muslims will act the way the men in this article do, but what does it say about the culture that promotes these beliefs?
Of course, Muslims could try to attract nonbelievers by treating them nicely and trying to entice them into joining the faith. For instance, Christianity is replete with admonishment for Christians to be kind to their neighbors and to share with nonbelievers. But there is little in the Koran to support that behavior.
Of course, we all in the West abhor the kind of behavior in these articles . But is there a mindset that leads to this type of behavior?
